Does my resume actually get seen by ATS software?
Every template MyResumeKit produces is a single-column, text-only layout with no tables, no graphics, and no columns. We verify ATS compatibility by extracting text from each generated PDF and confirming that all content appears in correct reading order. Formatting this way removes the parsing problems that can stop an ATS reading your resume correctly.
What makes this different from free tools like Canva?
We build for a different output than a general-purpose design tool does. MyResumeKit's templates are single column, with no tables and no icons inside the content area — and we verify every generated PDF by extracting its text and confirming it reads in the correct order (see 'Does my resume actually get seen by ATS software?' above). If a resume matters more as a parsed document than as a designed page, that is the trade we have made.
Do I need an account to use MyResumeKit?

What happens after I pay? Can I edit my resume again?
You receive your PDF download immediately after payment. Your resume data remains in your browser exactly as you left it, and you can keep editing any time. For 7 days after you pay, you can re-download and re-export freely — including switching templates — at no extra cost. After that window, exporting again is a new $9 payment.
What file format is the download?
PDF only. We use a PDF renderer that produces text-native output — meaning the text in your PDF is real, selectable, copy-pasteable text, not an image. This is required for ATS compatibility: ATS systems extract text from PDFs, and an image-based PDF has nothing to extract, so its content may never be read at all.
Is the $9 really a one-time charge?
Yes. There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewals, no hidden fees. $9 buys one PDF export, with unlimited re-downloads and template switching for 7 days. The payment is processed by PayPal. You can usually pay by credit or debit card without creating or logging into a PayPal account — PayPal decides whether to offer that at payment time, so it is not available to everyone.
